Cuberluigi CT Pack is a custom track distribution created by CuberHax and Ιυιgι. It has the most custom tracks ever used in a distribution so far. Nintendo tracks were available since Beta 6. There are many track variants. It uses LE-CODE, vehicle stat modifications and it has the Countdown, Item Rain, Random Items, Bob-omb Blast, Mushroom Dash, and Double Framerate game modes, as well as combinations of those modes.

When updating from a Beta build to RC1 onward, users must download the base and update again, with the base still being installed first, then the update. Updates for versions newer than RC1 have to be installed to a version that is RC1 or newer.

Q: Tracks are freezing!<br/>
This could have a few causes. You may have gotten the base and not the update, because a high amount of tracks didn't work due to an XML error in Beta. You can tell if you're on Beta if it doesn't say it will send you back to the Wii System Menu after you freeze. Another cause is that the distribution didn't install correctly, because there wasn't enough space on your SD Card/USB. Or maybe it's some weird bug that a few may have possibly gotten. If it's that last case, use a USB if you used an SD Card, or vice versa. Don't worry about installation, they work exactly the same in this case.<br/>

Q: There aren't any new track slots! (RC1 and onward only)<br/>
 +
You didn't install the Gamma update (RC1 and onward) correctly. Updates beyond RC1 can only be installed to the new base. Download the base again, then extract the base, then the update again. That should fix this.<br/>
 +
Q: Tracks don't appear and the track selection is messed up!<br/>
 +
This should only happen on Riivolution, so I am assuming you were using that when this bug happened. It's actually a bug in Riivolution, and I'll explain the cause. When selecting options in Riivolution, I found that there is a second set of the same options. If these are selected in the game mode setting, it will cause this bug. A similar bug might also happen with My Stuff folders, where it doesn't load the mods in the My Stuff folder, but we are not sure. To get around this bug, keep scrolling on the selection until it is on Disabled. Then you'll be back at the real options, and you can go right to select them. But if this doesn't fix it, delete the RMC*.xml (the * being your region letter) in the config folder in your riivolution folder on the SD card. It will delete the configurations, and reset the options. Make sure you enable Cuberluigi CT Pack and disable everything else before loading the distribution. That should solve it.<br/>

+
Q: Tracks names don't appear!<br/>
Why does that matter? Plus, there are 980 tracks for sure. Counting manually isn't accurate.<br/>
+
This is because you are using custom text in your My Stuff folder. (Example: MenuSingle_U.szs) Delete/move these files out of the My Stuff folder, and then the issue should be fixed. If the issue is not fixed after doing this, installing/reinstalling the latest update patch should fix it for sure.<br/>
 +
Q: What custom UI can I use?<br/>
 +
Cuberluigi CT Pack utilizes custom MenuSingle, MenuMulti, Globe, and Title SZS files. Don't use language files for those, like for example, MenuSingle_U.szs. Everything else should be fine. But for MenuSingle and MenuMulti, they have to be patched for the custom cup layout. You don't need to put in the Cuberluigi CT Pack cup icons, because if there aren't enough icons, the game will still work, but the missing icons will be replaced with garbage data.<br/>
 +
Q: There aren't 1076 custom tracks! I counted myself!<br/>
 +
Why does that matter? Plus, there are 1076 tracks for sure. Counting manually isn't accurate. If you do actually count around 980, you didn't update correctly. Refer to There aren't any new track slots! somewhere above in the FAQ.<br/>

<spoiler text="A description of sorts made by the authors">

Thanks to the beautiful LE-CODE developed by Leseratte and Wiimm, we can now put way more than 216 tracks in a custom track distribution. Before the dawn of LE-CODE, there was a concept for Cuberluigi CT Pack, but with CT-CODE. However, the project was dropped indefinitely. About a year later, the idea was picked up again, but this time, we would break the limits of Mario Kart Wii, using LE-CODE. And with that, Cuberluigi CT Pack was born! It only took about 23 days for the first stable version to be released. We ended up making a 980 custom track distribution, and combined with the regular tracks, over 1000 tracks could be playable in Mario Kart Wii! Explore 245 "questionable" cups, with a bonus Wiimm Cup for random selections! We have a large variety of tracks! Old tracks, new tracks, retro tracks, and of course, some not-so-good tracks! It's all still to play for! What tracks can you find? We have all of the current CTGP Revolution tracks (as of writing this), and all tracks from versions v1.02 or lower from CTGP Revolution and old CTGP. All of the tracks from Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart 7! All of the tracks from SRCP (at least I think so), which is a pretty unknown and underrated custom track distribution. Most of the tracks from Japanese CT Collection. And more! Some things you may notice is that there are many track variations. This just lets you have even more fun! You may also notice that tracks from newer Mario Kart games have their CTGP names. Except the RMX tracks from Mario Kart Tour, because saying "Retro" instead of "RMX" doesn't make much sense. However, something that is overlooked is how unbalanced the vehicles are. Cuberluigi CT Pack helps fix it, by buffing every vehicle that needs it! Now all bikes are inside drift, and buffed vehicles get a boost in speed, drift, or even both! But there's more fun to be had! Play around with fun game modes! You can even play combinations of these game modes, with more to come in the future! We hope this custom track distribution continues to grow. What are you waiting for! Install this distribution (using the installation tutorial below, which nobody seems to use and that makes them not install the distribution correctly), organize some online races in the Discord server (which you can find somewhere at the top part of the page), and have fun!

When you install the distribution, first install the base and then the update. To install, extract the zip file to the root of your SD Card/USB. If you already have the base, you can install any update, even if the base was already updated. Be sure to let the extraction replace files when you install updates! You do not need to install any previous updates before updating the distribution. There is an installation tutorial video found in Media.

When you patch your ISO/WBFS for the distribution, you must install Wiimms ISO Tools and a program that can extract 7z files. Either WinRAR or 7-Zip work. To install, run patchiso.bat. It will give you the instructions, but it goes like this:<br/>
+
Redownload the ISO patcher whenever you patch again for an update, for the ISO patcher may be updated to handle certain new updates. You must have Wiimms ISO Tools installed before running the ISO Patcher. The ISO Patcher likely only works for Windows, but may work for other systems, using a program like Wine. To start the process, extract the archive, and run the batch file in the CLCTP ISO Patcher folder/directory. The batch file will guide you through the process, but it goes like this: Extract the base, and then the update, both found in the downloads section on this page, to the ISO Patcher folder/directory. Be sure to let the extraction replace files when you install the update! Next, put your Mario Kart Wii ISO/WBFS in the CLCTP ISO Patcher folder/directory. After that, enter the region of the ISO/WBFS in the installer. At this point, you can select the game mode. Finally, you have to set the patching mode. 1 is usually for an unmodified ISO/WBFS, and 2 is usually for a modified one. If the mode you chose doesn't work, try the other one. The rest of the patching is done by the ISO Patcher. If the program prompts you to select if it's extracting to a file or a directory, always choose directory. When the patching is done, a WBFS patched with Cuberluigi CT Pack will appear in the CLCTP ISO Patcher folder/directory. You can now run this on Dolphin. Many have pointed out that this doesn't work on USB Loader. Please contact the authors if you do get it to work.
Put your Mario Kart Wii ISO or WBFS in the same folder/directory as patchiso.bat. When you run patchiso.bat, it will pause for you to do this. You can continue when your ISO/WBFS is in the same folder/directory as patchiso.bat. It will extract the files of your ISO/WBFS to the isofiles folder/directory. Now, extract main.7z, and the 7z file with the region your ISO/WBFS, into the isofiles folder/directory. Be sure to let the extraction replace files! Once this is done, you can continue in the program. The program will compose a new WBFS with Cuberluigi CT Pack. It will close itself when the process is done.<br/>

The disc id does not get changed as of now. You'll have to change the disc id yourself, which you can do with Wiimms ISO Tools.

WARNING!
Watch out for items in your My Stuff folder (if it is enabled), as this distribution does feature modified UI and Common.szs. If you find those types of files in your My Stuff folder, remove the files, disable My Stuff entirely, or copy files from the My Stuff folder that are not the types of files specified into the distribution's My Stuff folder, and enable that folder in Riivolution.
The online region for this distribution has been disabled, resulting in a 15 minute ban when going online via the Regional option. Friend rooms are safe to use.

Overview

Cuberluigi CT Pack is a custom track distribution created by Saiveeon and Ιυιgι. Nintendo tracks were available since Beta 6. There are many track variants. It uses LE-CODE, vehicle stat modifications and it has the Countdown, Item Rain, Random Items, Bob-omb Blast, Mushroom Dash, Double Framerate, and Time Trials Online game modes, as well as (friend room only) combinations of those modes. As of 2020-11-18, the distribution has been discontinued.

You can find a spreadsheet of the vehicle modifications here.

When updating from a Beta build to RC1 onward, users must download the base and update again, with the base still being installed first, then the update. Updates for versions newer than RC1 have to be installed to a version that is RC1 or newer.

Some of the author's notes and a small FAQ (important to read)

Installation

Riivolution

When you install the distribution, first install the base and then the update. To install, extract the zip file to the root of your SD Card/USB. If you already have the base, you can install any update, even if the base was already updated. Be sure to let the extraction replace files when you install updates! You do not need to install any previous updates before updating the distribution. There is an installation tutorial video found in Media.

Dolphin

Special Features

Below are listed special features that are included in this distribution:

Game Features
Feature Author Information
Automatic BRSAR Patching Chadderz An option that automatically patches the revo_kart.brsar for custom music. Disable if you already have the file in an enabled My Stuff folder.
Bob-omb Blast Saiveeon A mode that changes the item probabilites to always give Bob-ombs. Mushrooms will be given instead if there are too many Bob-ombs in play.
Countdown Mode MrBean35000vr, Chadderz Countdown Mode has been added as a replacement for battles in single player online play.
Crazy Items MrBean35000vr, Chadderz, Saiveeon A mode that combines Item Rain and Random Items. As of now, Crazy Items is broken until LE-CODE is updated to fix Item Rain.
Custom Menu System Chadderz This distribution makes use of custom menus to load custom course slots. The cup selection menu is modified with two buttons featuring arrows to the left and right of the main cups. When selected, these buttons cause the current on-screen cup buttons to be replaced with other cups, including custom cups, creating a scrolling menu system. All custom tracks are stored inside custom cups.
Custom Server Support Wiimm, Leseratte Support to play on a custom MKW server has been added as a replacement to Nintendo WFC.
Change Characters Between Wi-Fi Races MrBean35000vr When in online play, the player's character, vehicle and drift mode choice may be changed between races by pressing + on the Wii Remote (or Start on the GCN Controller) when on the VR screen. This simply takes the player back to the character select menu, and then returns them to the vote when they have reselected. If the time limit expires, the currently selected options are taken.
Double Framerate MrBean35000vr A mode that tricks the game into running at 120 FPS, or two times the normal speed.
Exception Handler Star, Riidefi This code will display exception information on the television screen when an exception occurs. After the console is finished scrolling, you will be returned to the Wii System Menu.
Item Rain MrBean35000vr, Chadderz Item Rain is a custom game mode created by MrBean35000vr and Chadderz. In this mode items fall randomly from the sky to disrupt the players during a race or battle. As of now, Item Rain is broken until LE-CODE is updated to fix it.
LE-CODE Leseratte, Wiimm This distribution uses the LE-CODE game extension developed by Leseratte and Wiimm.
Max Lap Count Modifier Geeh, MrEvil A track can have anywhere between 1 and 8 laps.
Mega Cloud JoshuaMK Thunder Clouds will give a Mega Mushroom effect instead of a Lightning effect. Due to Replace TCs with Mushrooms, this only takes effect in Random Items game modes.
Mii Heads on Minimap JoshuaMK The player's Mii head will appear on the minimap instead of their character's icon, excluding CPUs.
Mushroom Dash Saiveeon A mode that changes the item probabilities to always give Mushroom items.
Music Only My Stuff Folder Unknown (found in SRCP, probably sadai) A type of My Stuff folder that only uses the music files that may be put in the CTGP Revolution My Stuff folder.
My Stuff Folder Allows users to replace certain files with their own, allowing for custom textures, among other things. This distribution has its own My Stuff folder, along with the option for the CTGP Revolution, old CTGP, vX MKW Hack Pack, SRCP, and Cuber's Hack Pack My Stuff folders.
Race Count Modifier JoshuaMK Makes every amount of races from 1 to 32 selectable in VS Mode rules.
Random Items Saiveeon An option that makes all items have an (almost) equal chance of appearing on the item roulette in any position.
Replace TCs with Mushrooms Saiveeon The probability for Thunder Clouds has been replaced with Mushrooms. This does not affect Random Items.
Save game on SD Card Allows users to save their game on their SD Card, rather than the Wii's NAND.
Speed Modifier MrBean35000vr Tracks have a speed modifier applied (e.g. 2× speed) which causes all parts of the game's physics to move at the increased speed (including vehicles, items and boosts).
Time Trials Online Melg TTs Online is a custom game mode, following ideas by SwordofSeals and NMeade. The concept is to recreate the Time Trial experience online. You start races at the Time Trial position, with Triple Mushrooms. Collision and slipstreams are disabled.
