Overview

Celestial Valley is a race track from Kirby Air Ride. The track maintains its major identity, and the author intends to recreate as many elements from the original as possible, while adding some spins to make it more unique feeling and work better in Mario Kart Wii. The track's model was changed in a few ways to improve drivability and some things were also redesigned for balance.

cpfusion gave the author a version he worked on right after the Alpha 2 release and allowed him to use the work with permission, so Beta onward is a mishmash of both versions into as good a product as can be made.

Beta 2	2023-08-24	Improved KCL. Added Bronto Burt (castletree1) and Scarfy (castletree2) custom objects. Fixed skybox. Fixed unlinked item routes. Fixed a checkpoint error. Moved and added a few Gordos (VolcanoRock1). Improved visuals.
Beta 3	2023-08-28	Added lightmap. Improved visuals. Edited material settings to make the track more vibrant. Fixed water splash and collision height. Moved a few Gordo positions. Edited shortcut mushroom to be more round and flat. Redesigned shroomless shortcut to move the trick on the right to make the landing easier. Removed a boost panel.
Beta 4	2023-08-30	Fixed and improved some collision. Tried to improve half-pipe consistency. Removed Gordos in the half-pipe water area. Added a few Chillys (crab). Moved start position forward and set pole position to the left.
Beta 4.opt	2023-09-01	Update by Optllizer: Reverted half-pipe collision.
