Overview

Warp Pipe Island is a custom track created by Wingcapman and Luke Chandler. It started as a port of the Mario Kart DS beta track Dokan Course in 2015, using Turbo Yoshi's version as a base, but it was eventually remade from scratch three years later, featuring revamped visuals and decoration.

Progression

The model was being worked on in Google SketchUp by Wingcapman, but ported over to Blender once Luke Chandler got to work on it.

There are a few images made public that shows the progression of what Wingcapman worked on, alongside with concept art, right before he gave the project to Luke Chandler. The images can be downloaded here. The images are dated from July 4th, 2014 until April 9th, 2018.

Credits
