Overview
Sandcastle Park is a custom track created by SpyKid. It is set on a beach with sandcastles and several Thwomps and crabs.
The track model was started in May 2011 but took until October 2011 to finish. SpyKid needed help using the tools to make the track and asked people on YouTube for advice, out of which wiimaster35000vr replied and helped finish the track by December 2011, and then the first version was finally released to the public. In 2012, they tried to add new decorations such as pyramids and an underwater cave, but they decided not to use that layout because it was too different from the original track.
SpyKid planned a remake in Blender for 2013, but progress never got that far and the idea was scrapped. Then, in 2023, ZPL remade the track; he worked together with SpyKid, who provided his ideas he collected for the track over the years, and they used them to add more focus on the sandcastles and beach theme. The visuals were also upgraded to current standards.
