Overview

Luigi Story's Remake Competition is a competition where participants have a designated amount of time to create a remake to a selected custom track by Luigi Story.

Choosing the Track to Be Remade

Three of Luigi Story's custom tracks are randomly selected to be featured in a poll. A fourth track is chosen by the previous winner. A public vote between these four tracks will then be held publicly in the Luigi Story's Remake Competition Discord server, where the track with the highest number of votes will be the objective for the competition.

The Aftermath

When the time is up, players will then send their custom track (as a SZS file) directly to Luigi Story. The track files will then be displayed for voting, hiding the information about the author's identity. People can then play the tracks themselves, and give each track a rating between 1 and 10. The track author with the highest received average rating wins the competition.

Luigi Story's Track Remakes Rules

1. The track needs to be a remake of the custom track which received the highest number of votes on the previous poll.
2. You cannot use any 3D models created prior to the competition.
3. The tracks need to work on console without crashing.
4. You have to place objects, a start position and checkpoints.
5. You can use Nintendo objects.
6. You can work with a partner or a group with up to three people. However, this is not mandatory.
7. You are allowed to create and submit more than one track.
8. Submission must be a Mario Kart Wii custom track.
