Overview

Mirage Desert is a custom track created by Bulzeeb. It takes place in a desert. The race starts in a pyramid and the players must exit from it, avoiding the fire bars. Once out, there is a large area with many Grindel-textured Thwomps, fire snakes, Pokeys, and split paths with only one correct route. The race continues on a tilted obelisk that requires you to jump on a cloud to land before the quicksand. After another split path, the players go into a large area with boosts and cacti in order to enter into an oasis – there are more forks with bridges and only one of them is correct; the other one is a mirage. The players then go through two more split paths and then they return into the pyramid, while avoiding more fire snakes and fire bars.
