Overview
SNES Boom Boom Fortress 1 (also known as SNES Bowser Castle 1 RMX) is a custom track created by Iggy Ze Koopa. The model was originally made for Mario Kart 8, but the author could not import it in. It is a remake of SNES Bowser Castle 1 based on Morton Koopa Jr. and Boom Boom. This track took more than a year to make, and is the author's first track to be in development for a long time. Since he was struggling due to the amount of ideas he had for this remake, he merged three different concepts in one track, causing it to be his hardest work in progress so far. The track starts in a castle and then leads to a plain with wood platforms, and eventually to an airship (Mdush) parked in a lava pool, looking like DS Airship Fortress and replacing the author's original idea of having the Shy Guy ship from GBA Shy Guy Beach. The second lap leads the player to a dungeon looking like N64 Bowser's Castle, thanks to a platform that will disappear (VolcanoPiece). The final lap then offers either to get back to the upper or lower route, thanks to a cannon. The track contains two cannon shortcuts, Bowser statues and many hiding spots fitting for Hide and Seek.
