Overview
Donut Steppe 1 is a Super Mario Kart custom track created by smkcocatriz, which can be found in the ROM hack Super Mario Kart 20XX. It was remade by Retrostyle12 for Mario Kart Wii. Initially, this used textures from the GBA versions of SNES Donut Plains. In v2.0, the added pipes were removed and the track now used textures and the skybox from the DS version of SNES Donut Plains 1. The fast trick ramp was replaced by a cannon that shoots players to the split in the road. The shortcut also makes a return, but players need a Mushroom to use it. v3.0 uses textures from N64 DK's Jungle Parkway and Wario's Gold Mine.
Slot Information
For v1.0 to v2.0, it is recommended to put this track on slot 8.1. For v3.0 onward, it is recommended to use slot 7.3 or 8.3 because of its dirt GFX.
