Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2019-06, the successor of Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2019-03, is a Custom Track Distribution made by Wiimm with much help from Leseratte.

This is the first MKW-Fun distribution based on the LE-CODE by Leseratte. LE-CODE allows up to 4000 custom tracks, enables battle arenas and supports the Korean version of Mario Kart Wii. See »LE-CODE« for details.

Test versions

2019-05-25, Test 1

• A first public test version to test all features. The tracks will most likely change thereafter.
• Features:
  • 304 custom tracks. The online protocol has been rewritten to support 32000 tracks.
  • Support of all 4 regions (PAL, USA, Japan and Korea).
  • Works on Wii, WiiU (vWii) and Dolphin.
  • 90 racing track cups: 8 original + 6 random selections + 76 custom tracks.
  • New random selections by type (GCN, N64, Boost, ..) and author (BigOto2, Sniki, Tock, ...).
  • 2 cups with 10 custom arenas.
  • »GCN Mushroom City« with a »Mushroom Car« that ejects mushrooms when touched.
  • The finish line on the minimap is now drawn at the finish and not at the start. For this purpose, 15 tracks have been adjusted so far.
  • Some tracks bring private customizations of the common files that replace the global files.
  • Item cheats included for PAL and USA.
  • Always 150cc.
  • Current status: 9 new tracks and 42 updates.
  • This version can be used offline and online.
  • Size of the image file (WBFS or WDF): 1.9 GB.

2019-06-04, Deadline

2019-06-08, Test 2

• A second Test version with item cheats.
• All planned custom racing tracks (312) and battle arenas (10) included.
• Size of the image file (WBFS or WDF): 1.8 GB.

2019-06-09, Test 2 (update to fix a Riivolution bug)

There is a problem creating the Riivolution variant. The generator aborts with the following error message:

ln: failed to create hard link './files/thp/battle/battle_wii.thp' => './files/thp/course/flower.thp': No such file or directory

There were 2 solutions, but the download files are replaced by RC1.

Tracks

Currently, 308 custom tracks are planned. These are all tracks of the rotation system plus 3 additional tracks to fill the cups (multiple of 8 is needed).

The 32 original tracks are distributed over the first 8 cups. 6 cups provide random track selections. 76 cups support 308 custom tracks; 4 pairs are selected by random.

Tracks with LE-CODE features

The following list describes features of Custom Tracks that are only available with LE-CODE. Some of the features may also be available by special cheat codes.

DS Airship Fortress (Sniki)

Respawn height of the woodboxes are lowered, so that they respawn in the lower floor.

GCN Mushroom City (Tock)

Mushroom Car and alternative hit boxes for trucks and cars enabled.

SBK Ninja Land

Fast cannon and second KTPT.

Second KTPT to fix finish line bug

For some tracks, a second KTPT was added to define a different draw position at the minimap. These are tracks with a special starting position away from the finish line. The following tracks were edited:
