Overview
This is a port created by JimmyKaz. It was ported for use in a video project by the author involving ported models into Mario Kart Wii and other games that used the BRRES file format over their original models.
The author always used a method of porting that involved SketchUp. But upon importing the new models into Mario Kart Wii, a lot of important geometry data was lost and texture animations did not work properly. He eventually tried another method involving bone scaling of the original MDL0 that he wanted to port the model from, so the scale would be consistent with the model he was replacing. Everything but the collision worked properly. Eventually, he tried to remake the collision 412 times with four different 3D modeling programs; even after these numerous attempts, there are still some collision issues. Laps do not count as well.
