GBA Bowser Castle 1 is a retro race course from Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The track is one of four Bowser Castles found in the game. This remake of the track is based on the version released in Mario Kart 7. However, the hang glider ramp is not present and the shortcut has been moved to adapt to Mario Kart Wii's physics. This version also includes a three-dimensional skybox, animation, a light source, and a shadow map.
