Overview

Angry Video Game Circuit is a custom track created by Nomatix. This was created for the 47th edition of BillyNoodles's Custom Track Jam, where it placed eighth. It is a track themed after the Angry Video Game Nerd.

When I saw that the theme of Video Game won, I quickly came up with the idea to make a track themed around the Angry Video Game Nerd. I figured most if not everyone else would base their entry off of a stage/level from a specific game. I thought that basing a course around the AVGN would help it stand out a little more while still relating to the theme of the jam. I was partially inspired by Hman6516's track Troy's Teespring Trek from the Shopping themed jam in that the track was intended to have a humorous and referential concept. This wasn’t meant to be a “joke track” in the traditional sense, as I wanted the course to still have merit to its gameplay and visuals.
