Overview

The look and gameplay of Rush City Run was inspired by the game San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing. The track itself is a new design by GredMega, but it uses textures from the Nintendo 64 version along with higher resolution textures made in the same style as the original.

  • KCL cleaned (unused triangles removed) and octree recreated.

  • New respawn points placed before mandatory check points.
  • 6 instead of 9 items rows at new places.

Item and enemy routes need more attention.

  • Rotated 90°.
  • Completely remade KCL.
  • Adjusted lap counter and start position.
  • Improved opening cameras.
  • Added mipmaps.
  • Slowed down boost animation.
  • Adjusted and cleaned minimap.
