Overview

Village Hidden in Memories Reflections is a custom track created by ISwearChris. It was created for the sixth edition of the Custom Track Jelly competition series, where it tied for second place with Danville Dash. The track was meant to invoke nostalgia and features many large sightlines and pretty decoration. It was meant to feel inner reflective, and features references to the Mask of Truth from The Legend of Zelda, as well as Arctic Monkeys.

The author updated the track after the Jelly to add better design and theming, and to attempt to capture the intended mood more effectively. In Beta 2, the track has a more jungle-like setting and a darker aesthetic, more off-putting and creepy feel, incorporating elements referencing songs like "Strange" by Wire, as well as the band R.E.M. The author plans to make more updates for it in the future.
