About Wiimmfi

Use User talk:Wiimm/Wiimmfi for discussions about Wiimmfi.

Are you serious?

So, I edited this place of this thread : http://wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/User_talk:Wiimm/Archive/2014-01-21#TheMygoshi_alias_Proround Because I don't want to share my IP right now, so why do you share my IP in public? I know I did it but now I don't want to share this.

You should know that it's prohibited to have more than one account in the Wiiki. Why do you use this second account instead? —Atlas (talk) 19:41, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
  1. Yes, I'm serious!
  2. Are you the one who edited the page and destroyed not only an ip address (=vandalism)? (rhetoric question)
  3. I didn't reverted your edits -- so I'm the wrong address for this aggressive question.
  4. However, I find that the revert was right, because
    • You hide not only an ip address.
    • You are not the person, who inserted the ip address.

"You are not the person, who inserted the ip address."
Actually, he is.

Don't need to be rude, I didn't want to be agressive. Just I don't want to share infos like this in public now, I know it's possible to get my IP just here but I don't want to have this written in a page.. Thanks for removing my Skype on my THeMygoshi profile.

I am traveling for a few days. So don't expect anything from me in the week. -- Wiimm (talk) 23:13, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
OK Aplumafreak500 (talk) 23:15, 15 October 2016 (UTC)
Is this a new version of countdown capable of running on the battle "slot" so you could have regional VS and regional countdown both in one distribution? Or is this just the old (already known) patch which replaces VS? -- Leseratte (talk) 08:46, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
Unfortunately I don't know how to replace battle with Countdown. Also, this patch is meant to allow Worldwide and Regional play on Countdown Mode (read: not CTWW) Aplumafreak500 (talk) 16:06, 16 October 2016 (UTC)

About custom tracks not available for download

Star Slope as of v1.0 and onwards is not available for download. The only way to play the track is downloading CTGP Revolution and using a "cheat code" to add the track to a cup. From what I've interpreted of the Wiiki rules, this is not allowed here, as all content should be directly available for everyone. Is the Wiiki allowed to host a custom track page and distribution like that? Aside from that, it is true that more than 6 months had passed after the release of the previous version of the track, and I as the original creator had allowed Torran to remake it, but I got no saying on the fact the track is not available for download. --Igorseabra4 (talk) 03:44, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

This is a difficult topic. On the one hand, this wiki is a kind of an encyclopedia with all malformations about MKW. On the other hand we have the rule of an existing download link (current or past) to avoid announcements of vaporware. So I'm not sure, if we should remove the newer versions. But it is maczkopetis choice. He replaced me as Wiki administrator. If we remove the updates, we should leave at least a notification like "Torran made private updates."
About Torran: In the past he was a nice guy and helped others. Meanwhile he is a very egoistic man and do many things only for CTGP. I read statements of him like "I know the problem, but I don't tell you". And Only-CTGP tracks is the another unfriendly action by him. Leseratte talked with MrBean about this months ago. And he said, he will make public all tracks in CTGP.
Best is to ask him directly for the current version! And if this fails, ask MrBean.
-- Wiimm (talk) 11:06, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
I'm not interested in having the file myself, I'm just concerned about if it's right or not to have the track like that. I guess I'll just ask Bean about it then. --Igorseabra4 (talk) 02:35, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Lap & Speed Modifier

Hello Wiimm!

I contacted you a while back with questions about your Lap & Speed Modifier, and how to use it. If this is a more appropriate venue to get assistance, and if you are not too busy, any other assistance would be fantastic!

Also, is there a convenient way to donate to you and/or other custom MK content creators for your work? I'd certainly like to support all this cool stuff, and I've only just begun to enjoy it!

Thanks!

I personally do not accept donations. However, we have some problems to finance the Wiimmfi server in the next year. We will discuss it in the next week. So simply wait a while. -- Wiimm (talk) 15:06, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Okay, I understand. Thanks!

Page deletion

Hey Wiimm! Can you delete the page Inkling35000vr's CT Pack please? I don't need the page anymore since I canceled it. Inkling35000vr (talk) 20:10, 21 January 2017 (EST)

Done. Next time you should put "[[Category:Delete]]" on the page that you want to delete.
