Overview
Unrestricted Vehicle Combo is an in-progress character distribution created by Wingcapman. It was made with the community for the community. This is a mod where the player is able to choose any character on any vehicle. The author always wanted to see such feature in Mario Kart Wii, since Mario Kart DS had this as an unlockable feature, and the later Mario Kart games has this feature by default.
Progression of this mod goes very slow, as new textures need to be made for all the vehicles that are not meant for certain characters. Wingcapman made it possible to show the progression of this project on a Google Spreadsheet, which can be seen here. A cheatsheet is also provided in case anyone needs some help naming their files properly, if they want experiment with those forbidden combos. Using this online is prohibited; you will get banned if you use illegal combos online!
Once all the vehicles have new textures, then it is up to the community to make new animations for all the characters on their new vehicles, as their animations most likely do not work properly. A custom KartDriverDispParam.bin will be included as well; this one was specifically made for Gold Mii & Gold Vehicles (Mii Outfit C Texture), but will get updated so that no character will float over their new vehicles.
