Overview

Toadette's Illusioness Nightmare is Marianne8559's seventh custom track. It features a rendering method inspired by Strobenz Desert Illusion. Players can see Toadette being captured twice on the track. In Beta 1, the layout was changed significantly.

Slot Information

It is recommended to put this track on slot 5.3 due to the large amount of objects. If used in a distribution that supports custom music slots, it is recommended to use music slot 8.4.

Trivia

  • This track was originally planned to be a Yume Nikki and Mario-themed track called "Mario's Dream Diary". Then, due to lack of progress on the model, it became a remake of Snowy Drive with a Toadette theme. However, the finished track was completely different from Snowy Drive, hence the current track name. The starting line still resembles the track, with approval from EdwardJW.
  • The track name's is a play on Toadette Hack Fan's Biggest Nightmare.
  • Since Alpha 3, most of the Mario Kart 8 textures have been changed to Mario Kart: Double Dash!! textures. However, the poster used Mario Kart 8's textures (although it looked more ominous than before) until the object was removed in Beta 1.
  • This track was ported to Mario Kart: Double Dash!! to test whether the rendering method used on this track would work well. Video
