What's that blue elf from P&D doin' there? == --CustomArio (talk) 04:52, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
Textures
Can Wii U race texture be implemented inthis custom track ? --Unsigned comment by Iyenal (talk).
Textures broken in newest version
The road textures are broken in v1.839 and v1.MK8.43 (likely a mipmap failure). If you race at the Wii, you will see what I mean.

- Yep, I know what you mean. I had already this problem submitted by Wexos, and I deleted the road and mt_dummy mipmaps and then he tested again and he said it worked fine (on v1.839). I just think he didn't even test after it, lol. Or probably he just lied to me, or it worked for him but not for others for no reason. I wonder what could be the problem, since I've been hours checking it but found nothing, and impossible to me to check where's the error since it doesn't show up in Dolphin. Sorry, but I give it up in hands to another to fix it. Really sorry. Not my fault I have no Wii. If someone finds out how to fix, do it asap. Thanks. -- Atlas (talk) 1:16, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- I think by hint "mipmap" is wrong. It seems to be z-fighting.

- Nope, it isn't, checked it again 2 days ago. It seems like the shadow map and TV screen shaders plus material settings (which I customly made by my own) are conflicting in a real Wii. However, changing both Shader settings with a normal Shader (like Shader0 used in the same course) fixes the issue. But it won't give the cool effects, like shadow map and the TV screen dots. Yet the problem is unknown (I don't know why it's blurry nor why it seems like corrupted), I'm not able to fix this. Only way I can is by using original shaders and giving up with the cool effects. -- Atlas (talk) 22:53, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- This is a shader issue. It looks like BrawlBox messes up something in the shader after editing it. I managed to fix it through hex editing, so you can add back the road and mt_dummy mipmaps. Here's the BRRES.

- There are values in the shaders which aren't shown in BrawlBox that follow a "0x611X" pattern. Fixing them was trial and error, so you can't really prevent the problem unless you have a Wii.

- Sure, added you.
