I believe I am well within my rights to post that I did not give him permission to release his version. I had hoped that he would work with me to release a track we would both be happy with and explained my objections to him.

TL;DR, once you publish something on the Wiiki, it's already for public use and everyone can freely use/modify it. I disagree with this idea, but there's nothing I can do. I discussed this countless of times.
