Overview
The race takes place in a nightmare, starting in a grassy plain. Then, the players must go underground through a rainbow pipe. Then, there's a haunted hallway with some ghosts. After that, the players must choose 2 ways to take in the cemetery section. The tombstones have some fast trick ramps. These 2 ways go in a haunted mansion. Inside the mansion, there are a lot of objects: boos, dancers and chandeliers.
In the v2.0 the players can go through hidden paths by going through pictures. There are some "?" doors. Inside is a Boo or a Toad. The Boo's room will cause the racer to respawn. The Toad's room will allow the racer to continue with a boost pad and a final cannon. At the outside of the mansion is a cannon that shoot the players to the treasure room, so the "nightmare" here is a dream. Another cannon shoots the players back the starting area.
