Crashing on respawn?

I'm working on a track at the minute and for some reason the game crashes when I respawn, is there any known causes for this? Thanks, Seeky (talk) 20:46, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

Your check points might link to respawn points that don't exist. Either that, or you don't have any respawn points to begin with. --KantoEpic (talk) 20:54, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
Ah yeah I forgot about checkpoints, I'm reusing a kmp so that's probably it. Thank you, Seeky (talk) 22:01, 18 February 2019 (UTC)

Crashing after intro cameras and after pressing restart

I'm working on a track right now but am having some issues. After the intro cameras play the game stops on its black screen. I've found removing the hanachan object helps, but I'd like to keep that object in and have it not crash. The game also crashes after pressing restart on time trials, this has only started happening after I added two poihana objects. If someone could give me some information or an explanation for these events I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks. --Unsigned comment by TAS Rhys (talk).

Game crashes when exiting race after results screen

On Petite Park (v1.2) and Rosalina's Galaxy Garden, after you press next race or quit after the results screen, the game then crashes into a black screen. I have no idea what is causing the game to freeze when exiting the race after the results screen. If someone could find an answer to what is causing that issue, I would pretty much appreciate it anyway. --Octanevinny (talk) 04:54, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

My custom track won't load on Wii

Hello! I had planned to upload my first custom track, however I can't get it to load on my Wii (I am using the My Stuff folder on CTGP). It takes me to an error page when I try to play it. It works on Dolphin, btw. If someone with more experience could help that would be great! Thanks! (Also if there is a better place to ask this question, that would be nice to know.)

Hi! I can't quite look at the file right now, but a helpful page you can look at for your crash can be found here. Let me know if you need further help --Bruh de la Boi (talk) 16:12, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for the helpful link. After doing some checking I found that my course is 8.90 MB, which seems to be too large. I'm not sure why it is this big, the textures are not bigger than other tracks', and the course itself is relatively small with few objects on it (I removed all unused objects). Is there anything that could be done to reduce the szs file's size? SquireTurnbolt (talk) 17:11, 11 May 2021 (UTC)SquireTurnbolt
Have you tried using Wiimms SZS Tools to normalize the track file? --KantoEpic (talk) 23:19, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
I followed your suggestion to normalize the .szs, however the track still failed to load when I tried it on my Wii. Thank you though. SquireTurnbolt (talk) 01:34, 12 May 2021 (UTC)SquireTurnbolt
