Overview
This port is based on how the course appears in Mario Kart DS. The layout consists of mainly driving around the shore of a small island. One section of the beach is submerged, with deep water pockets that are hazardous to fall into. Cheep Cheeps flail on the shore and serve as obstacles. All of the course is slippery to drive on, adding to the difficulty.
A 3D version is planned for the future. To compensate for a flat course, the water and shore textures are animated.
