Overview
Illusion Canyon was originally going to be called "Out Of Time" because it was intended to look like the Crash Nitro Kart course with that name. It was going to be a circuit in a desert canyon, with windmills, giant falls and a giant clock (where you drive on top of), but limitations and the fact that the course looked nothing like that made the track the way it is now.
The only things it has from Out Of Time now are the giant moles and the large open area with boost pads and a pokey. Crash Nitro Kart had a ! item box (a ! item box? must be very special) instead of a pokey, however.
On September 14th 2012 CaronHT updated this track to RC2 by animating the boosts, fixing glitches and several textures.
