Overview

Cars 2 Oil Rig Escape Scene (formerly known as Super Cool Recreation of the Chase Scene From Cars 2) is a custom track created by Questorian. It was created for the 11th edition of Whipinsnapper's Turbo Jam, where it placed first. It is a recreation of the opening scene from the film Cars 2, in which the character Finn McMissle flees an oil rig.

A quote from the author

When the 'Cars' theme was chosen for Turbo Jam 11, I came up with the idea to recreate the Oil Rig Escape scene from 'Cars 2'. This was accomplished by me using a video of the scene as reference, and modeling the track as I watched the scene. For a track created in five hours, I think it came out pretty well. I hope you enjoy the track, it was a blast to make!
