Overview
EDM Drift Music Pack is a custom music distribution created by Jaddot. It contains non-copyrighted EDM songs handpicked by the author as background music, pulled from four different genres: drift phonk, kawaii bass, melodic dubstep, and lofi hip hop. Many in-game sounds are changed (such as the item box sounds) to Mario Kart 8 sounds (and others) as well. It is recommended to use Gecko codes such as No Squashed Effect Music, Final Lap Music Trigger Modifier and Disable Toad's Factory Music Reset to enhance the music if possible.
Please note that some songs (mainly from the drift phonk genre) have explicit lyrics; however, they are not prevalent and are usually too heavily distorted to make them out clearly.
