Ive read the rules but sorry since its my first week on the wiiki i mistakely pressed save page instead of show preview. It wont happen again. --MrSkopelos27 16:22, 27 November 2011

Thank you.--Jefe 20:07, 27 November 2011 (CET)
Since aren't the original creator of Lavaflow Volcano, you should explain what you changed and why in the description of the page. And I just noticed you didn't put a download link for the new version? It can't be considered a news item unless you actually release something.--Jefe 20:35, 27 November 2011 (CET)

Greek Translation

You can now complete the Greek translation here CTGP Revolution/Translation/Full.

Just notifiting you

Hi, I just wanted to say to you that I did very few minor changes on the Greek Translation. I changed the letter "υ" to the letter "ι" (e.g. Ντίντυ Κονγκ -> Ντίντι Κονγκ) because that's more suitable for the Greek language even though the letter "y" in the Greek language is the letter "υ". The only exception to this is Daisy and Baby Daisy where I put the letter "η" instead of the letter "ι" as most Greek people write the name Daisy with "η". (Yes I also did that on all tracks and arenas that have those names.) I also changed Maple Treeway's name in Greek to be more close to Greek (is it truly more close to Greek?) and changed Shy Guy's Greek name to "Μασκοφόρος" because the name "Ντροπαλό Αγόρι" is extremely large and also other languages have their own name for Shy Guy (e.g. French) and I'm also planning to use Shy Guy's new Greek name for any custom track that has his name in the English language as well as when I become a translator for Mario games (yes, this will probably be my job when I grow up).

EDIT: Forgot to tell it, I replaced the word "Αυτοκινητοδρόμιο" with the word "Πίστα" in Mario Raceway since it's also extremely large.

Alright, thanks for your contributions and help over these years. MrSkopelos27 (talk) 08:56, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
I also changed Dry Bones' and Dy Bowser's name in Greek to "Σκελετός" and "Σκελετός Μπάουζερ" because it's more fitting for the Greek language. Forgot to tell it yesterday because I was very tired. That's also why I forgot to put the time and date I wrote my above comment. I also changed the word "Στεγνός" into "Ξερός" in Dry Dry Ruins as this is a desert track! I'm gonna do this in GCN Dry Dry Desert too. Also thanks to you too for helping these years! :) Sarantis (talk) 09:43, 28 June 2015 (UTC)

Some track names need to be shorter

I'm thinking about shorting some track names, due to some of them being too large to fit in the game, especially in the online voting screen. Can I do some changes? I recently removed the "του" in the Greek name of Wario's Gold Mine, since it makes the name even larger in the Greek language than before! Sarantis (talk) 14:12, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

Feel free to edit anything you want. If there's something I don't agree with I'll let you know :) -MrSkopelos27 (talk) 18:42, 27 November 2015 (UTC)

The CTGP-R Translation

I just can't believe how you could mess up the new text! Now that Bean had updated the channel ugh... *facepalm* I recently fixed every single mistake I was able to find in the whole translation, and also made a few changes in order to accommodate the Greek language much better. Also translated to Greek 2 left tracks. From now on, the next time you see the CTGP-R having new text, you should inform me because I DON'T want to see more mistakes, like the ones I've seen before!!! :>( I informed Mr Bean about what I did recently also. I'll recheck this Saturday for mistakes. Sarantis (talk) 20:45, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

What? I don't get it. MrSkopelos27 (talk) 23:43, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Ugh, what I mean is, you had made some mistakes on the new text Bean used for the latest major update for CTGP-R. I fixed them yesterday night and told him to update te Greek language sometime in the future, because I think it's perfect now. Also, I'll chech again for mistakes on Friday night or Saturday morning. Sarantis (talk) 12:20, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

The "Καλώς ορίσατε"

I asked my dad yesterday if it can be written as one word and he said that it's possible. It's possible to say "Καλωσορίσατε" instead of "Καλώς ορίσατε". Sarantis (talk) 19:54, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

Sorry if I sound rude but I'm honestly pissed. I've accepted pretty much everything you changed because you fixed a lot of mistakes/typos and slang-ish language and for that I am thankful. I don't even play MKWii anymore but I do care for language and insisting you are correct just infuriates me. Just go Google it with your dad:
- https://el.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/καλωσορίζω
I don't know what our "official" dictionary is (Μπαμπινιώτης;) but I stand to my point until proven wrong. So if you have proof that it can written like that, find it and link it here. I'm not going to revert the change again, do as you like with the damn thing.
One last thing though. If what you're saying is also correct, then at least keep it consistent instead of switching between the forms all the time. Peace out. MrSkopelos27 (talk) 21:09, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Look, I too don't play MKW a lot lately, but I too care a lot about the Greek language!!! I'm just trying to do my best, do you know that!? I'm 100% Greek, while you're 50% German and 50% Greek! Trust me if you want, I think it's correct to say "Καλωσορίσατε", it has the same meaning as the "Καλώς ορίσατε"! Sarantis (talk) 20:56, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
I never said you're not doing your best. In fact, I complimented you for everything you've done! If I were you, I'd be careful about the argument of Greek percentage. While it is true that one of my parents is German, that does not make me less Greek than you. I lived 15 years in the country like a normal kid, going to a normal Greek school and everything. Also, I speak English, Greek and German fluently, my French is pretty good and I'm currently learning Spanish, being one of the best in my class. I think this signifies an understanding for languages and how they work.
Now, I don't want to compare our lives, knowledge, languages. I want the " right until proven guilty" treatment, because as I see it I have not been proven "guilty" yet. As I said, I will NOT touch the page again. Sorry for not signing my previous post earlier.
EDIT: Also, my aunt is a philologist who went to the Athens College (big private school, Google it) and she works there now. I can ask her if you'd like.
Good luck, MrSkopelos27 (talk) 21:09, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
Ah, thank you sooooo much!!! Oh, and BTW, I Googled them and it showed the exact same word: "Welcome". They show a different collection of words but it still has the same meaning! Sarantis (talk) 20:10, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
Googled it = used Google Translate? Won't cut it in my book. Here are the 2 cents from my aunt who is an Greek teacher: http://i.imgur.com/gkiE1UL.png
Συνεχίζουμε λοιπον τρεις μέρες αργότερα και οι χρήστες = παρουσιαστές δίνουν μια συνέντευξη για την γνωριμία τους με τον Χ. Ρωτάει λοιπόν ο interviewer: Αφού καλωσορίσατε τον Χ στο στούντιο φάνηκε μία λάμψη χαράς στο πρόσωπό σας. Τι έχετε να πείτε γι'αυτό;
Seriously the concept is so plain and simple. It's just a matter of spelling. I'm not telling you good lack, I'm telling you good luck. MrSkopelos27 (talk) 22:22, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Well fine, I give up. I understand now. I'm gonna do the changes now. Sarantis (talk) 13:02, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

The babies

Well, I was thinking about their names in Greek and I though we should change them to "Μικρός Μάριο", "Μικρός Λουίτζι", "Μικρή Πιτς" and "Μικρή Ντέιζη". I find it more suitable than "Μωρό Μάριο/Λουίτζι/Πιτς/Ντέιζη". Just try saying "Ο Μωρό Μάριο". How good do you think it sounds? Sarantis (talk) 10:51, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Sure, do that ;) MrSkopelos27 (talk) 14:36, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
