AIParam Format

I haven't looked at the files in hex or anything, but I think an analysis of these files would prove very useful. Presumably you could customize the AI in CTs to provide more of a challenge without being insanely fast if the settings of these files were known. --Jefe 19:18, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

Hate AlParam

I hate AlParam so much. I wish the people who used AlParam also used download links with their tracks without AlParam. Also, in this article, I think we should possibly have a list of tracks that are currently using AlParam. It would be easier to see which tracks have the fast CPUs. I don't like it too. So I have implemented a new option for my tools today: --rm-aiparam
I plan to remove all AlParam in all tracks of my track archive.

You could... um... open the SZS with SZS Explorer and simply delete the AIParam folder. Then save. It won't even affect online. It's not that hard... Don't start organizing witch hunts for AIParam tracks and just simply turn off bots in VS races.

My suggestion would be to implement a "very hard" option into CTGP, which acts like AIParam, but if you don't use it, even tracks which have included AIParam, will act normally. The question is just, if that could be done... -- NiAlBlack 21:20, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
You'd probably have to insert AIParam in every track, then code an option to enable it or not. I don't think it's necessary, since you can just turn off bots when you have a friend over, or play online (with no bots) when you're alone.
