Battle Course 3 Beta is a retro battle arena from Super Mario Kart. It is a beta version of SNES Battle Course 3 using the palette of the SNES Choco Island tracks instead of the SNES Vanilla Lake tracks. Three separate beta versions of this battle arena are currently known, with one being found in the April/May beta builds and two being dated around 1992-06.[1]

For distributions, it is recommended to use the name SNES Beta Course 3. This is to differentiate the arena from both the finished arena and other Battle Course arenas.
