Overview

This remake is Mr. Brian's first custom track. The track features an original model completely based on the Mario Kart 8 version, with slight layout adjustments to work around Mario Kart Wii's lack of anti-gravity. This version features the appearance of bouncing Chain Chomps (VolcanoRock1) and the steam train (K_truck and car_body) also seen in the original version, modeled from scratch in SketchUp. There is also background decoration, such as neon-lit signs (castletree1, mariotreeGC, donkytree1GC, donkytree2GC, peachtreeGC, gardentreeDS, DKtreeA64, DKtreeB64, and TownTreeDS) and a spinning star (M_obj_start).

Note from the author

This track had many problems in its development and I spent practically 3 years working on it, error after error. If I'm honest, I did this work in honor of my late mother, who loved playing Mario Kart with me, and even though she hated the rainbow tracks, she was supporting me from the beginning to the end, I would have loved for her to see it finished, but I know that now, she is up there, watching over me somewhere over the rainbow... I love u, mom. ❤
