Trivia
The origin of this track's name was unknown for a long time. Many people speculated that it drew inspiration from dogs (namely the Beagle breed) and toyed with the possibility that Chain Chomps were among the objects initially planned to appear here. But later, this theory was proven wrong by the author; the author took inspiration from the Donut Plains tracks in Super Mario Kart, and intended for this track to be called "Bagel Plains" (named after another pastry-based product), but an accidental misspelling of the word "bagel" gave this track the name it has today.
