Keep the following in mind as you contribute to the site:

• Use the Templates on the Main Page when making new articles for content such as Custom Tracks, Texture Hacks, Characters and other releases.
• We encourage all content makers to create a User Link to put on their release pages and to add it to the Author List.

Czech Translation

(I'm replying here so I can be sure you receive a notification about this message) Hi! I'm the CTGPR translation moderator here on the CT wiki. I'm pleased to hear that you've expressed an interest in continuing the Czech translation, it's starting to look as though the previous two other translators have put it on an indefinite hiatus so I'd be more than happy to add your name to the list. Are you a native Czech speaker? The list of pages that require translation for the pack are as follows:

Hello, and sorry for the late reply! I got interested in CTGP-R again, so I'm aiming to translate it in hopefully less than two months. I'm indeed a native Czech speaker. And I have some questions about translating.

For UI translations: We need to use the T-V distinction that affects how formal the sentence is. The other translators decided to write it in the more formal style, which is something I very rarely see in games. But, since the translation for the game's UI was completed month ago, I'll stop sticking my snout in it.

For track names: There's no way to translate some types of roads to Czech, for example: Highway, expressway, parkway, motorway, freeway, they all translate to the same word. And then there's even a bigger problem with the ones that are made up. For example Leavesway or Spaceway. I have no idea how to translate these.

Also, we're having a few problems with unclear track names, for example Yoshi Mountain. It should be either Yoshi's Mountain or Mountain of Yoshies. I'll talk about that later in the proper discussion channel. --Matojeje (talk) 19:08, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
