Black Yoshi is a black form of Yoshi. In the Mario Kart series, he made his debut appearance in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX as an alternative form of Yoshi. He later appeared in Mario Kart 8 as an alternate form of Yoshi, which was unlocked by purchasing the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 and The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 downloadable content packs, and in Mario Kart Tour.
