Naming Questions

Where does the name "DK Alps" come from? Shouldn't this be known as DS donkey_course instead? Is this model present in both the DS Kiosk ROM and the retail game, and identical in both? --Jefe 22:07, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Based on this article it's only present in the Kiosk version. I don't see a reason it should be called DK Alps, it's close to several European names of the real DK Pass and could cause confusion. --Jefe 22:33, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

The course has been dubbed as DK Alps for a long time. It has been Dubbed as DK Alps in the Mario Kart CW games. It may cause some confusion with the final version of DK Pass, so I think it's best to change it to DS Donkey Course

DS tracks porting

Hi. Can you make port DS tracks?? Why i ask?? because there is no good version from DS Tick Tock Clock and from DS Bowser Castle. DS Nokonoko Beach is cancalled from Ermelber. --Snake (talk) 17:59, 5 July 2015 (UTC)

Maybe but I want to get this course out of the way first. --wg93589 (talk) 16:25, 5 July 2015 (MT)

Empty vrcorn_model

vrcorn_model.brres is required for the game to load the track. Luckily, I have a solution for those who made their skydome within course_model.

The vrcorn_model.brres used on ASDF_Course is blank. It has textures but the model doesn't appear in-game because I used SZS Modifier to 'delete' the polygons (it really just moved all of the vertices to 0,0,0).

You can use that brres if you'd like.

Edit this page

Is it OK if I edit this page to show what I did and what you did in RC2?
