Hello! I'm Rex. I'm a newbie at making custom tracks and other things, so don't expect a ton from me haha :p

Hi! I'm Rex, I kinda just exist. I can't think of many interesting things to say about myself, and prefer being in the shadows rather than the spotlight. I mainly create Custom Tracks, though sometimes I make other types of mods too. I tend to make them for my own enjoyment, and not really any serious reasons. I'm not always motivated to work on things regarding them, so don't expect consistency in the rate they come out. I also play CTWWs on various CT packs semi-regularly.
  
Right now I'm only working on my own custom tracks in [[SketchUp]], but eventually I might try to get into porting tracks from other Mario Kart titles and maybe some outside games, and texture related stuff if I feel like it.

I mainly think about gameplay more than how my tracks look. What I'm content with visually is definitely below what others may see as "good" and is usually more like what was good several years ago. If you're looking for good tracks on the visuals side of things, I recommend you check out many of the other talented creators and their creations on this wiki instead! There is some great work out here. If you're reading this and have seen my tracks (whether you like them or not), I hope you can at least respect that I do this as more of a hobby, and it's not anything I'm purposely striving to be the best at.

I will sometimes update tracks made by others, usually for minor quality of life fixes with the visuals or functioning of them, though sometimes I'll do more major updates that update several aspects of the track. In most cases I'll probably not be taking requests for updating tracks, whether you're the original author or not. Unless you've already stated you're fine with updates to anything you've made on your user page, I will likely be contacting you first if I wish to update anything you've made and if you've been active in the community. I tend to have more motivation for doing these updates compared to working on my own tracks, as I feel I excel at the file stuff when it comes to making tracks much more than modeling stuff, so at times I'll probably be releasing updates to my tracks and other's tracks more often than releasing new tracks.<br>

I used to exclude the ones I liked less, but now I only exclude ones that I feel were kinda useless to release in retrospect and didn't put much effort into. The mods listed in each category are sorted by when they were first created or released, with a few exceptions. The "contributions" section of the user link mainly consists of tracks where I only worked on parts of the model for, and/or some of the track's files.
