Is it common for SZS Modifier to say that there isn't enough space in the KCL if it's 7mb? The .obj file is 1,1mb by the way

Igorseabra4 23:12, 7 October 2011 (CEST)

The KCL is devided into 4 Data (Octree, Vertex, Normal and Planar Data). When the custom KCL is only in one of these data smaller than the way the SZS Modifier create it, it say there isn't enough space".

How can I know what's too small? And what's planar data?
Igorseabra4 23:56, 7 October 2011 (CEST)
Open the KCL with the KCL Editor and it will say how small all parts are. Planar data is as far as i know the complete faces. Just wait for the next KCL Editor update and it will be fixed anyway.

Recommend wkclt default?

I vote for using wkclt as the "default" recommended method, including moving it to the top. It's the only bug-free, reliable way to create KCLs. --jimbo1qaz (talk) 19:38, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

It's already in chronological order and wkclt is identified as "The newest method to create KCL". I don't see what the big deal is, especially since wkclt has its own tutorial page.

chronological order — mhmmm — CTools are older than SZS Modifier? -- Wiimm (talk) 21:26, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
I dunno, I wasn't here. :P

It is alphabetical, basically almost every list is newest first. And this shouldn't be the recommended method, it took me some time to find out how this works and new users won't be able to understand it at all, the tutorial is written for new users. CTools' kcl creator is buggy but easy to work with.

I think, the part must have an other structure:
  1. Start with an introduction, that explains in some words the history, the features and the (dis-)advantages of the tools.
  2. Iterate through the tools and describe, how to use them. For wkclt only some words and a redirect are needed.
