Autodesk 3ds Max Design

3ds Max Design is made and distributed by Autodesk. It is an powerful 3D tool, but the handling is difficult. If you are student, it is possible to get a free version of 3ds Max Design.

Blender

Blender is the free open source 3D content creation suite, available for all major operating systems under the GNU General Public License.

Google Sketchup

Google Sketchup is the free version of Google Sketchup Pro. It has no own object exporter, but a free and SZS Modifier compatible exporter is available: (link will follow)
