:I thought the entire point of renaming the 3DS tracks was to ''not indicate that they're from [[Mario Kart 7]] and avoid copyright infringement''?? On another subject, I've actually been thinking of just dropping the prefix/suffix for the recurring courses (Mario Circuit, Bowser's Castle, and Rainbow Road). The Nintendo courses are not normally visible during track selection, so the 3DS versions wouldn't be confused with the Wii versions. As for convenience, it's rumored that you can just arrange the cups in the next update.

Missing parts

I've made a thread here which includes the missing parts of this and the other Translation pages and it also includes some additional infos. --MrSkopelos27 06:51, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

Mushroom Peaks

The current Japanese translation for Mushroom Peaks is incorrect. If you're working with the same name style as Nintendo, it should be キノコピックス (Kinoko Pikkusu; Mushroom Peaks) instead of Mashirumu Pikkusu.

Swedish

Just to point out, when I changed N64 Luigi Raceway I used the translation of N64 Mario Raceway as a guide and just substituted Mario for Luigi, thus making the name N64 Luigis Racing Bana. This contradicts Kirio Raceway which has become Kirios Racerbana (which sounds more correct tbh), should N64 Mario Raceway and N64 Luigi Raceway be changed to N64 Luigis Racerbana and N64 Marios Racerbana too? --WorldsBoss 21:57, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

You can. It is the better translation.

Track naming of MK7 Tracks

I think we should find a way to indicate that a track is from MK7. Obviously we can't use "3DS" or "MK7" as prefix (or suffix in some languages), because they're copyrighted, but it would be good to put a "7" in front of the name. I find it really hard to find 3DS tracks quickly because of the missing prefix, so that would be a neat addition. Well, it's up to MrBean and Chadderz. -- NiAlBlack 22:29, 17 February 2013 (UTC)

Actually Zilla in the offline modes and friend rooms both Nintendo and custom tracks are selectable, so the lack of such a distinction would be very confusing overall. -- WorldsBoss 23:33, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
