Overview
The Nintendo 64 (N64) is a game system designed by Nintendo. The system launched on in 1996 in Japan and North America; 1997 in Europe and other regions. The Nintendo 64 is notable for being the final Nintendo home console to use ROM cartridges instead of disc-based media. Mario Kart 64 was released for this system.
