Metal Mario is a retro character that first appeared in Super Mario 64 as a powered-up form of Mario.[1] He first appeared as a playable character in the Mario Kart series in Mario Kart 7, later reappearing in Mario Kart 8, Mario Kart Arcade GP DX and Mario Kart Tour as a playable character, and in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit as an unlockable outfit of Mario and Luigi.
