Mario Kart 7 is a racing game developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS console. It is the seventh installment in the Mario Kart series and the first Mario Kart title to use the Nintendo Network. The game was released worldwide throughout December 2011, but 6 months later in South Korea.
