Instructions

To patch a game with the tools, use the patcher for ISO/WBFS games. The requirements for this tutorial are

  • a copy of the image on an external USB device.

To patch a game, do the following.

  1. Extract the content of the patcher to any folder.
  2. Copy all images you want to patch into this folder.
  3. Windows users should start the create-image.bat script, and Linux/Mac users should start the create-image.sh script.
  4. Once complete, the new images will be in the wiimmfi-images folder, unless the patcher specifies otherwise.

Playing with a Real Disc

MrBean35000vr has developed a Homebrew app to play Wii games online from a real disc. The user must have the Homebrew Channel installed in order to run this app.

Playing without the Homebrew Channel

Thanks to the efforts of Fullmetal5, the Internet Channel has been found to have a bug in that allows unsigned code execution. MrBean35000vr updated his Wiimmfi patcher accordingly, and if a user goes to chadsoft.co.uk/wiimmfi and follows the relevant instructions, you will be able to play on Wiimmfi without Homebrew Channel being installed.
