Mhh i don't think that the Custom Track Creators are happy when you change their Tracks without asking.

I think not. I think the are happy by fixing the tracks!

You're both right. So I'm going to inform the creators!

First my position with my tools: I have spent many time in it and I make it open source. What happens if anyone take the source and creates a new kind of ISO or SZS tools? It doesn't make me happy, but also not really unhappy. That's the life of open source.
I think the custom tracks should handled in similar way. Ok, they are not declares open source, but they are handled and distributed for free usage. Most authors using Nintendos tracks as template, and patching a CT is nearly the same. Andy (and me too) edit the tracks with respect to the authors. He remove bugs. Fore some bugs I ask weeks ago the authors without reaction. E.g. Igorseabra said here in the wiki, that he can't repair Lakeside Park. But Andy does it. Overall I can't see problems if anyone remove bugs as long the original author is still named.

When i release an CT and someone change something i want that he ask me before he edit it. And first you should wait/ask if he plan to update/fix his CT by himself.

I think you're right, in future I will give better attention to that. But if one of the creators did asked Nintendo if he could change the original tracks?
I always thought that the tracks are no longer under construction, because of that: Talk:GBA_Lakeside_Park, Talk:SNES_Vanilla_Lake_2, Talk:FZMV Cloud Carpet (Scye), Talk:MKDasher
On my page I display the basic version, the creator and what changed. I'm not saying they’re my own tracks, I have a lot of respect for creators. I only show how to fix the bugs and if the creator wants to know, he can ask me.

Mhh i think i will write CT Rules. Btw. fixing your "unsuccessful tracks" is easy too.
SNES Donut Plains 2: One or more goombas (kuribo in the object section of the KMP) use an wrong or no Route.
SNES Ghost Valley 1: You must use another KMP from another Track because the rGV2 one only works on rGV2.
GCN Baby Park: Create your own lol.
