Night time fix

V1 of the track looks like it's in the middle of the day. I know how to make it look more like it's night time, and I made a test version that I think looks good. Would it be alright for me to upload it? --Guilmon35249vr 18:06, 29 November 2011 (CET)

Traffic

The traffic doesn't take the right direction everywhere. The traffic on the starting position should come against you on both lanes and in the middle part the traffic is doing some kind of an eight. If you keep left where it splits and you go straight on the traffic goes always against you and if you turn right where it splits and you stay on that road the traffic will go with you. It would be great to see this fixed in the next version! :) NiAlBlack 19:48 December 20th, 2011 (CET)

The traffic is the way it is because I couldn't find a way to implement respawning traffic, something that is necessary for a one way street where the start and end don't connect. Instead, I had to work with what I had, which was looping traffic, and like Moonview Highway, I followed Japanese traffic laws where one drives on the left. For consistency, I applied this to all routes. Until someone finds a way to create respawning traffic, I'm afraid the track stays as it is. --Torran 20:31, 20 December 2011 (CET)
Why not make traffic go along the one way route, then drive out of sight (off the track) to go back to the start of the street again? --Digital Monster, Guilmon35249vr 17:40, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Let's see, they would either float conspicuously in the sky or emerge from beneath the ground. Either way, I'll have to create some sort of obstruction to cover them up because the current model has no such feature. Rest assured that I still have many plans for my old tracks. --Torran 18:20, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
You could make them emerge from the walls near the end of the road. It would look like they're turning around a corner. --Digital Monster, Guilmon35249vr 19:02, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Allowing vehicles to clip through walls looks ugly imo. I'd prefer using the dummy overpass and linking it to the road so that it forms a complete loop. I've always wondered why it was there anyways. --Torran 20:36, 3 May 2012 (UTC)

Wiggler Busses & Stuff

So yeah. If you want Wiggler Busses and cars from GCN Mushroom City do the following.

1. Change Model.

2. ???

3. PROFIT!!

It will still act as the same. Change the model and it's fine.

What do you think you're doing?! You just changed this page more than 2 times within 15 minutes, and they aren't even huge changes! Please read the rules before you ever comment again and make use of that preview button for goodness sake! As for the wiggler buses and the original vehicles, I will not be changing to them and here's why:
1. Textures are smaller in resolution and detail.
2. I do not know how to change the collision of the wiggler object.
Also, doing this will not change the game play of the course. The only reason this course was hard in the original game was because of slippery handling. If you'd like something equivalent, might I suggest a carmageddon version where there are twice as many vehicles and they move at twice the normal speed? --Torran 21:10, 13 January 2012 (CET)
It is an idea but maybe you can make it a slippery road, to make it harder.

Simple Animation Update

I made the arrows and this stuff animated...do I have the permission to upload it?
LuigiM 10:41, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

I'll have to approve it first. You can PM me the link and I'll check it out. --Torran 13:09, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
I'll give the edited course_model.brres to you if you are in skype online.

The Animation Update froze on Moonviewhighway Slot for me.
--Buschkling 05:59, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
This course isn't compatible with slot 4.2, yet. Use any non-special slot until v1 is released.

About Crediting...

When I do decide to remake this track by recreating it from scratch, do I still credit the others listed if the old work is scrapped entirely? Their names will, of course, still remain listed under the revision they did work on but what about the new version? How would crediting work in this case? --Torran 23:39, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

The credit for the older revisions will still remain but you dont need to give them credit if you redo it from scratch in the newer versions.

Last edit should be removed

Please remove last edit made by TheMygoshi. It´s not a good idea to change the track to a lower version just because he added something but doesn´t work. So I think the good idea is to remove this and update it again to the v1.1 when it works. As I´m not a moderator, I don´t know if I can make important changes like this one on pages.
