Plugin

I haven't been able to find the GSU plugin to flatten models. can someone add a link for it? --Jefe 18:25, 3 December 2011 (CET)

There are two plugins you need (If you can't find them, I can re-upload them): "Flatten To Plain", and "Work Plane". You must: Create a face laying down. Select workplane from tools (Maybe Plugins?), and trace the square with the work plane's yellow lines. You then put the road of your track over the Work plane (Make sure they're in to same component first), and in plugins, find "Flatten to Plane".

Why flattenning the models? Just import them the way they are. In fact, they appear better because, that way, height differences are shown in the map.

That makes sense. The reason for flattening them would be to simplify the model so it can be imported with SZS Modifier, but that can also accomplished by deleting some edges here and there. It still would make sense to flatten roads with contours, however.--Jefe 19:32, 3 December 2011 (CET)

Textured Minimap

Could someone add how to create a textured minimap? I tried to make one by not checking the "Map Model" box, but it makes my track crash. -- NiAlBlack (talk) 21:05, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

can we do every track have diferent colour? or all tracks will have the same colour always? for examen i want one track with red colour, other red, green on the sxs track?? Warwick92xD (talk) 21:05, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

minimaps usually has only monochrome in VS race modes. nowadays the solution for that issue has been found once DS Tick-Tock Clock (Tock) released, but it seems to be private currently. -- Rz (talk) 10:43, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
Does anyone know if the code has been released yet? I feel that it would be very useful to many ct creators if it were made public and would help make some cts look better on the whole plumdizzyrat (talk) 16:50, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
