Toad’s Factory Music

Hi Tockdom users. I need help with Toad’s Factory’s music files. I know how to make multi-channel BRSTM (MBRSTM) files and Koopa Cape’s works fine. For Toad’s Factory, however:

a) The music starts from 2 seconds ahead of where it’s meant to start at the start of laps 1 and 3 because it silently plays while it’s playing the start race and final lap sounds.

b) Most or all Mario Kart Wii tracks have a part of the music that only plays at the start of lap 1 and never again because it’s not part of the music loop. My custom made music for Toad’s Factory includes this. However, because the MBRSTM switches files, it loses progress of the music and restarts it and includes the starting music. This also occurs whenever the factory is exited. The only way for it not to play when exiting the factory is to silence the start of the music or delete that part. Silencing it would leave a ~5 second silence when exiting the factory and removing it would cause the music to start and end the loop ~5 seconds late. If anyone can fix either of the aforementioned problems, please reply to this and say which one you can fix. Thanks in advance! Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! 1. As far as I know, the only way you can work around this is by making the song start after a few seconds. It is something I think you have to experiment with because I do not remember how long it takes exactly when the song would normally start, which means the first few seconds of the song would have no audio and then the song would play after it.
2. The collision would need to be edited. The sound triggers within it cause this to happen. --KantoEpic (talk) 14:18, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
Thanks KantoEpic! I can do the first suggestion but I don’t know how to edit collision for the second one. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! (talk) 18:08, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
People used SZS Modifier to modify the sound trigger collision. I think they would merge all of the sound triggers to one variant, as the track uses seven sound trigger variants. There is probably a more ideal method to do this, though. --KantoEpic (talk) 20:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
I don’t have SZS Modifier and I don’t know how to do that. I need someone else to do it. If anyone can do it, please reply and I’ll send the files to the email address you signed up for Tockdom with. --Unsigned comment by AlmostTWD98 (talk).
Can someone please reply soon? Also, I need the sound trigger change to work with the Aurora Facility texture. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! (talk) 06:31, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
A guy named Sergio Gimenez Alcaraz just released Mario Kart Wii but No Sound Triggers. You can use those SZS files in combination with your BRSTMs. 🏁_____🌲______🚗_____🌳 Krummers (talk) 06:50, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
It doesn’t work with the Aurora Facility texture though. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! (talk) 00:00, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
Sergio Gimenez Alcaraz said he would make a version with Aurora Facility texture. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! (talk) 19:56, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Character on Foot! vs. Character on Foot

Hi KantoEpic! I think the exclamation marks are necessary as they are part of the official names of the characters. Enjoy Funky Kong dancing and peace! (talk) 19:56, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

I think they are not necessary. --KantoEpic (talk) 22:23, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
