Don't use the Prefix "MK7" in front of it! Look at this:

  • Super Mario Kart = SNES (Not matching game's Title)
  • Mario Kart 64 = N64 (Not matching game's title)
  • Mario Kart: Super Circuit = GBA (Not Matching game's title)
  • Mario Kart Double Dash!! = GCN (Not Matching Game's Title)

MKDS & MKWII use their names, however. The prefix in front of the name refers to the System from where that course originated. SNES = Super Nintendo Entertainment System, N64 = Nintendo 64, GBA = Game Boy Advanced, GCN = Game Cube (Nintendo?), DS = DS, Wii = Wii. MKDS & MKWii just happen to sport the system's name in front of it. They've never said SMK Mario Circuit 3, or MKDS Luigi's Mansion. I think the name should be "3DS Rock Rock Mountain", since every name refers to the system it came from, & not the game. -- SuperMario64DS, 14:08, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

You have a point there, it was very early when I created this page.

Hello. Do you planed an update of this track in future?? Maybe with vertex color`s and better textures?? It´s only a question. Don`t worry. --Snake 17:20, 30 December 2013 (UTC)

Sorry for the late answer, but I have been thinking about a little update for the black hole and the floating start. Motivation for this project is terrible at the moment so who knows when I release it. Further updates are not planned.

Nice to see you consider a bug-fixing release for this "old" track.
In addition to these issues you've mentioned, another quick fix would be to redo the item route on the final uphill section (with proper Y-positioning using your KMP Modifier), so the bullet bill no longer gets stuck in a downward position. After this, it looks like most of the remaining glitches (on v1.0 / RC3) are various KCL glitches. wszst CHECK reports 52 invalid triangles (and 49 face-down) out of 23493. (I've never tried automatically fixing those before; this could be a good experiment for me especially, to make sure I'm making the correct assumptions as to how things are fixed.)
It also says checkpoints #37 and #38 make up a (slightly) concave checkpoint quadrilateral; just in case, you might want to adjust the right edge of checkpoint #38 slightly to the top.
Have fun and good luck with your fixes. DimitriPilot3 (talk) 18:38, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
