Online Unsafe

I want to know how this is online unsafe, since the only thing it does it make you slower... --Unsigned comment by KiwiPowerGreen (talk).

One, you should have added a signature (~~~~). Two, it's less about giving the player an advantage and more about playing differently from how your opponents will expect you to play. Sara-L (talk) 17:50, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Speed Modifier

Isn't the speed modifier for 100cc compared to 150cc just 0.9×? Says so on the StaticR.rel page. --HackStarz (talk) 14:01, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

The problem with that is the finite precision of the numbers we're using. The actual factors used can change by increments of 1/16777216, but per-course (although the Wiiki insists I call them "tracks") speed modifiers can only change by increments of 1/256, so the My Stuff versions are slightly slower or slightly faster depending upon which you choose, though it's probably imperceptible.
