Overview
Rapidcore is a map made by Michael Schultz for Half-Life, which was later remade in Half-Life Deathmatch: Source.[1] It was made into a Mario Kart Wii custom track by SCEEPWARE, and uses the Half-Life Deathmatch: Source version as a base, since decompiling Source VBSP files is much easier than decompiling GoldSrc (Half-Life Engine) BSP30 files. The map was decompiled with BSPSource and modified with Hammer++, before being imported as a VMF file in Blender by using VMF2OBJ.
BRSTM files based on "Klaxon Beat" from the Half-Life soundtrack were also provided to be used as the track background music. They can be downloaded as a ZIP archive here. Note that the BRSTM file will not loop on slots using multi-channels.
