Easy methods to lower edges:

  1. Push flat track surfaces down 100 meters.
  2. Select edges (while holding shift) and copy the edges (ctrl c.)
  3. Undo Push (ctrl z) then paste the copied edges (Edit > Paste in Place.)
  4. Delete faces/edges.

For non-flat surfaces, step 1 is different. Instead of using Push you can select the entire model (ctrl a.) Then move the track down 100 meters. Make sure the dashed line is blue while moving, this shows that you are moving vertically.

Another option is to simply drawn lines 100 meters below the road surface, but it is more time-intensive. If the wall surface isn't perfectly vertical, you'll need to draw.

100 meters is a good value to lower walls, but it can be a bit more than that, up to about 200 meters. Don't worry about being too exact on irregular surfaces.

Lastly, Wiimms Tools can perform some KCL adjustments, including lowering walls.
