Leaderboard entry, 0x51

Looking at an rksys.dat file of mine, offset 0x51 into the 1st place entry for Luigi Circuit on the bottom-left licence has its first three bits set to `010`, even though this article claims that those bits should store the lap count. RKGD (0x23308)

i'll use this topic to document what i determine regarding the "RKGD" section of the save file. feel free to add to it. (line)
already in the article is that 0x2330F is global settings (maybe 0x04 means the user has played online?), and that 0x26B0A is a region code. also implied is that 0x23308 is "RKGD" in ASCII. (line)
it seems to me that 0x23310 is a list with 10 entries, each 0x384 bytes in size, starting with a uint32_t & containing Mii names. something about the ghost challenge function, maybe? Wit (talk) 20:08, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

in a file of mine extracted from my Wii U with a creation date of 2020-08-18 & modification of 2020-09-19 (if memory serves, these were both before i set up RC24 on my Wii U), the first three entries are the same except for three bytes: 0x3 is 0x2F, 0x31, 0x32; 0xC8 is 0x05, 0x09, 0x07; 0x1A8 is the same. 0x1A8 is followed by (0x1B) EE bytes, followed by null bytes for the rest of the entry. the other seven entries are 0xFFFFFFFF, followed by null bytes. (how do i keep forgetting to sign?) this seems to be followed by a list of 32 entries, each 0x50 bytes in size. some of mine are zero'd out (which indices? courses?), and many end with 0xBB06. Wit (talk) 20:35, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

this list actually seems to continue for quite a while, in fact closing out this section of the file. licences? i think my races at this point were evenly split between the top- & lower-right licences. battle stages might also be involved?
